To be perpendicular, the slope of the new line has to have the reciprocal of the original slope.

Do this by flipping the slope (ifi t's a whole number make it a fraction) and change the sign.

3 ⇒ -1/3

Input x and y and solve for b.

5 = -1/3(-6) + b
Simplify.
5 = 2 + b
Subtract 2 from both sides.
3 = b

y = -1/3x + 3

Can you help me to solve this
mr Goodwill [35]

Answer:

11 \frac{1}{4} = \frac{45}{4} = 11.25

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi!

Next time, I'd recommend just typing in the number, this is a bit hard to see.

To the point!

11 \frac{1}{4} is equivalent to \frac{45}{4} and in decimal form is 11.25.

Hope this helps!

Prove cosxtanx = sinx
finlep [7]
Cos(x)tan(x)

Transform the expression by using the formula for tan theta:
tan(t)= sin(t)/cos(t)

cos(x)= sin(x)/cos(x)

Cancel out the cos(x) since it’s on both sides

Final answer : sin(x)

cos(x)tan(x) is equal to sin(x)
