If a line passing through two points (x1 ,y1) and (x2, y2) , the slope of the lie is defined by, m= y2 - y1/x2 - x1

The line passing through two points (-1,1) and (1,5). So the slope of the line is, m= 5 - 1 / 1 minus -1

m=4/2

Therefore, the slope of the line is 2.
