6. {Review} Is this a simple, compound, or complex sentence ? It poured all night long
seropon [69]

Answer:

Simple

Explanation:

The sentence "It poured all night long" is a simple sentence.

In English language, a simple sentence usually contains one independent clause. It doesn't have dependent clauses. Such particular sentence conveys a complete thought. In a simple sentence, we see the elemental building blocks of a sentence. A subject and verb are used in a complete sentence.

I am going to assume meters per second (or meters divided by seconds).

change 2 minutes 10 sec to seconds
2 × 60 + 10 = 120 + 10 = 130 seconds

now divide 800 by 130 for your answer
800 ÷ 130 = 6.15 m/s (meters per second)

A source card contains the library call number.
a. True
b. False
Doss [256]
The answer is B. False. Source cards are index cards which are used to take note all the necessary information about the sources you have used. Source cards only contain the following contents: Author, Title of the Book, Place of Publication, Location of source and source number. Whereas, a library call number appears on a specific part of a book, e.g. spine of book, which are used as codes in order to easily locate the book in the library.
