Answer:

The larger angle is 144 degrees and the smaller angle is 36 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

Because this is a  supplementary angle you have to find out what x is to solve  this equation 2.4x+9.6x=180

Because 2.4x and 9.6x are like terms we add them 2.4x+9.6x=12x

So now to find x we divide 180 by 12 to get 15  \frac{12x}{12} =\frac{180}{12}

We replace the x with 15 2.4(15)+9.6(15)=36+144

We add 36 and 144 which equals 180

Prove 2^n > n for all n equal to or greater than 1. I mostly need help with how to solve the problem when it is greater than
noname [10]
If n is an integer, you can use induction. First show the inequality holds for n=1. You have 2^1=2>1, which is true.

Now assume this holds in general for n=k, i.e. that 2^k>k. We want to prove the statement then must hold for n=k+1.

Because 2^k>k, you have

2^{k+1}=2\times2^k>2k

and this must be greater than k+1 for the statement to be true, so we require

2k>k+1

for k>1. Well this is obviously true, because solving the inequality gives 3k>1\implies k>\dfrac13. So you're done.

If you n is any real number, you can use derivatives to show that 2^n increases monotonically and faster than n.

M∠1=28°, m∠6=65°, m∠5=65°. Find m∠MAX
kirill115 [55]

Answer:

<MAX = 93

Step-by-step explanation:

Since <MAX is technically <1 + <5, we know that <1 is 28 and <5 is 65. We can add both of these angles up to solve for <MAX, which is 28 + 65 = 93.
