Answer:

n = 11.75

Step-by-step explanation:

2(n - 1) + 47 = 2(3n - 1)              Distribute the multiplier

2n - 2 + 47 = 6n - 2                 Combine terms

              47 = 4n                       divide

                n = 11.75

You would multiply the 3w^{2} to every term giving you,

12w^{5}x^{2} + 6w^{4}x + 15w^{3}x^{2}

(Note that when multiplying a squared root number, you add the the exponents together. Also a term/number without an exponent is understood to have a 1 as the exponent, it is just not written)

Answer:

a = −bx+7x−4 over x

Step-by-step explanation:

solve for a:

7+ax−5x=3+2x−bx

add 5x to both sides:

ax−5x+7+5x=−bx+2x+3+5x

ax+7=−bx+7x+3

add -7 to both sides:

ax+7+−7=−bx+7x+3+−7

−bx+7x−4

lastly divide both sides by x.

Can someone please help me solve number 13?
oksian1 [2.3K]

If an exponent is negative you need to switch it to the other side.

So it would be 54v¼•w⅔

__________

18v⅔•¹¹/³•x5/7

Then you need to simplify it. So you would do 54÷18 to get 3.

NOTE: when you are simplifying it's dividing, so the answer you get goes where the larger number is. So in this case the 3 is where the 54 was.

Graven spent $55.20 on gasoline to fill her 15 gallon tank at another gas station project spent $72.80 of gasoline to fill her 2
den301095 [7]

You must find the unit cost in dollars per gallon for each purchase by dividing the cost by the number of gallons.

Graven: $55.20 for 15 gallons

$55.20/(15 gal) = $3.68/gal

Project: $72.80 for 20 gallons

$72.80/(20 gal) = $3.64/gal

Answer: Project paid less per gallon.
