The reasons why hypothesis helps us feel like the world is a saner, safer place are:

 • Complex phenomena can be studied
 • Problems can be solved sequentially

Hypothesis is the use of research to find a possible explanation to the events that happen around us. Most times, scientific method is employed in order to test a hypothesis.

As a result of this, the use of hypothesis would make people feel that the world would be a saner, and safer place because any phenomena which is not yet understood can easily be broken down and understood.

lions [1.4K]
It illustrates how "human nature" is the result of a complex relationship between nature (biology) and nurture (the social environment).
If this is not the case, Anna would end up to grow up into the ordinary woman just like other children in her age.

spin [16.1K]

Incomplete/unclear question. The correct question read;

88% of all Rutgers/Newark students will get drunk this weekend. P2: Booze-Head is a Rutgers/Newark student. Can it be inductively concluded that Booze-Head will not get drunk this weekend?

Answer:

No

Explanation:

Remember, inductive reasoning is often based on broad generalizations from specific observations.

So since from this scenario, a broad generalization was made that 88% of Rutgers/Newark students will get drunk this weekend, it seems unlikely and illogical that Booze will not be among those getting drunk on the weekend.
