The grand strategy of isolationism is interlinked with notions of protectionism, which promotes political and economic barriers.

Isolationism was a political policy that was undertaken by the United States of America. This caused them to be uninvolved in international affairs especially in Europe and in Asia.

Protectionism is a form of isolationism. It is aimed at protecting the home or the domestic country from foreign competition through the use of quotas, tariffs etc.

Rumors of a bank failing, even if not true, can become a self-fulfilling prophecy because:
Scorpion4ik [409]
People will deploy from that bank and move to another bank to remain safe- if they believe the rumor. People usually believe rumors if they hear them enough while some people actually seek evidence and finding the truth vs the lie( or misassumption). For those people they will stay employed with that bank or at least give the bank the benefit of the doubt.

Sheffield Corp. estimates its sales at 150000 units in the first quarter and that sales will increase by 15000 units each quarte
Varvara68 [4.7K]

Answer:

183,750

Explanation:

Data provided in the question:

Sales in the first quarter = 150,000 units

Increase in sales each quarter = 15000 units

Ending inventory = 25% of the current sales units

Now,

Ending inventory of first quarter = 25% of Units produced in the first quarter

= 0.25 × 150,000

= 37,500

Units produced in the first quarter = Sales +  Ending inventory of first quarter

= 150,000 + 37,500

= 187,500

Units to be produced in the second quarter

= Sales in second quarter - Ending inventory of first quarter + Ending inventory

=  [ 150,000 + 15,000 ] - 37,500 + 25% of [ 150,000 + 15,000 ]

= 165,000 - 37,500 + 41,250

= 168,750

Units to be produced in the Third quarter

= Sales in third quarter - Ending inventory of second quarter + Ending inventory

=  [ 150,000 + 15,000 + 15,000 ] - 41,250 + 25% of [ 150,000 + 15,000 + 15,000 ]

= 180000 - 41,250 + 45,000

= 183,750

deff fn [24]

Answer:

Check the explanation

Explanation:

Sales price variance = (Actual price - Budgeted price) * Actual units sold

Product R : ($25 - $26) * 123000 = $123000 unfavorable

Product S:($20 - $22) * 162700 = $325400 unfavorable

Product T: ($10 - $20) * 54000 = $540000 unfavorable

Sales volume variance = (Actual units - Budgeted units) * Standard price

Product R : (120000 - 123000) * 26 = $78000 favorable

Product S:(150000 - 162700) * 22 = $279400 favorable

Product T: (20000 - 54000) * 20 = $680000 favorable

Notes:

Actual units:

Product R = $3075000/ $25 = 123000

Product S = $3254000/$20 = 162700

Product T = $540000/$10 = 54000 units

patriot [66]

Answer:

$104,000

Explanation:

The computation is  shown below:

= Bribe cost per each housing inspector × number of weeks in a year × number of newly built structures each week

= $1,000 × 52 weeks × 2

= $104,000

We simply multiply the three components i.e Bribe cost per each housing inspector, number of weeks in a year, and the number of newly built structures each week so that the accurate value can come.
