Answer-

The Hubble Space Telescope (often referred to as HST or Hubble) is a space telescope that was launched into low Earth orbit in 1990 and remains in operation. It was not the first space telescope, but it is one of the largest and most versatile, renowned both as a vital research tool and as a public relations boon for astronomy. The Hubble telescope is named after astronomer Edwin Hubble and is one of NASA's Great Observatories, along with the Compton Gamma Ray Observatory (1991–2000), the Chandra X-ray Observatory (1999–present), and the Spitzer Space Telescope (2003–2020). The Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) selects Hubble's targets and processes the resulting data, while the Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) controls the spacecraft.

Which of the following occurs when a cell repairs a double-strand DNA break by the process of nonhomologous end joining? 1.The D
victus00 [196]

Answer:

option 3

Explanation:

In non-homologous end joining, the break ends are directly ligated together without the need for a homologous template unlike the homologous repair. this form of repair uses short homologous sequences of DNA termed microhomologies to direct repair and these microhomologies are seen as single-stranded overhangs found on the ends of double-strand breaks. When the overhangs are perfectly compatible, NHEJ ligates and repair the break. When these overhangs are not compatible, imprecise repair leading to deletion of nucleotides can also occur which is much more common .

The Earth contains a great diversity of species. This:
True [87]

Answer:

The correct option is A) will make no difference in the survival of life if there were major changes in the environment.

Explanation:

Due to genetic diversity, variations in species are caused which makes some organisms of a species to be better adapted than other members of the species. These variations cause organisms to survive when differences in the environment occur. Although the allele frequencies might change due to the changes in the environment but the phenomenon of genetic diversity allows life to sustain on earth even when conditions will become unfavourable.
