Answer:

Total price: $74.10

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the $57 amount, and the additional 30% tax:

Step 1: Conversion of 30% to Decimal Form

First, we must determine the nominal amount of 30% tax. In order to do so, simply convert 30% to its decimal form:

Conversion methods from percentage to decimal form:

Method 1: move the decimal point two places to the left, which results in 0.30.

Method 2: Divide 30 by 100: \displaystyle\mathsf{\frac{30}{100}\:=\:0.30}

Step 2: Determine the nominal equivalence of 0.30 (tax)

Multiply $57 by 0.30 to find how much is the dollar value of the 30% tax.

$57 × 0.30 = $17.10

Step 3: Find the total price

Add $57 and $17.10 to determine the total price:

$57 + $17.10 = $74.10

Therefore, the total price is $74.10.

BRAINLIESTTT ASAP!! PLEASE HELP ME :)
Lostsunrise [7]

Answer:

See below

Step-by-step explanation:

(a) Field lines

A negatively charged particle has an electric field associated with it.

The field lines spread out radially from the centre of the point. They are represented by arrows pointing in the direction that a positive charge would move if it were in the field.

Opposite charges attract, so the field lines point toward the centre of the particle.

For an isolated negative particle, the field lines would look like those in Figure 1 below.

If two negative charges are near each other, as in Figure 2, the field lines still point to the centre of charge.

A positive charge approaching from the left is attracted to both charges, but it moves to the closer particle on the left.

We can make a similar statement about appositive charge approaching from the left.

Thus, there are few field lines in the region between the two particles.

(b) Coulomb's Law

The formula for Coulomb's law is

F = (kq₁q₂)/r²

It shows that the force varies inversely as the square of the distance between the charges.

Thus, the force between the charges decreases rapidly as they move further apart.

Need help with all And have to show work
kari74 [83]
Altho' I can easily guess what you're supposed to do here, I must point out that you haven't included the instructions for this problem.

I'll help you by example. Let's look at the first problem:

"Evaluate 6(z-1) at z-4."

Due to "order of operations" rules, we must do the work inside the parentheses FIRST. Replace the z inside (z-1) with "-4". We obtain

6(-4-1) = 6(-5) = -30 (answer.)

Your turn. Try the next one. If it's unclear, as questions.
