Convert 5 whole number and 7 over 8 into an improper fraction
Len [333]

Answer: 47/8

Step-by-step explanation: To write a mixed number as an improper fraction, first multiply the denominator by the whole number and then add the numerator. Finally, we will put our new number over our old denominator and we have our answer which is 47/8.

Therefore, 5\frac{7}{8} can be rewritten as the improper fraction 47/8.

Which ordered pair represent a function
sweet [91]

Answer:

The first set of ordered pairs is a function, because no two ordered pairs have the same first coordinates with different second coordinates. The second example is not a function, because it contains the ordered pairs (1,2) and (1,5).

Hope this helps you with your question.

17.5 how to make this into a fraction
BARSIC [14]
Take the .5 of the 17.5 and convert it to a fractin.
we know .5 is equal to 50% or 1/2

now we have a mixed number  17 \frac{1}{2}

in order to convert it into an improper fraction you need to multiply the whole number by the denominator and then add the numerator all while keeping the denominator constant.

W \frac{N}{D} =  \frac{(W*D)+N}{D}

so 17 \frac{1}{2}= \frac{(17*2)+1}{2}= \frac{35}{2}
