Answer:

Kim II-Sung and Syngman Rhee

Explanation:

The Korean War was as a result of the political tensions and differences between the north and the south part of the peninsula. The north was lead by Kim II-Sung who wanted to implement communism across all of the peninsula, while the south was lead by Syngman Rhee who wanted the peninsula to be more westernized. These two leaders were the main figures that led to the war itself. The north started it officially with its invasion in the south, and the things quickly escalated with the Soviets and China getting involved on the side of the north, and the United Nations getting involved on the side of the south. The war ended with setting up a border at the 38 parallel, and dividing the people into two separate nations.
