Instead, most of the writing has phrases like; "While his own tomb complex was being built, Khufu planned for the burials of his family and courtiers" and "Perhaps for his mother and two wives" which shows that the author thought (therefore the use of perhaps) that Khufu wanted to care for his family; the architecture wasn't done for the admiration of subjects, nor was making these pyramids necessary. Khufu probably wanted his family taken care of after death.
