The common way used to study protein structures is the use of X-ray crystallography.
In this method, solid crystals of purified protein are put into an X-ray beam, and the pattern of deflected X rays is employed to know the positions of the atoms that is inside the protein crystal.
The correlational method is a research method in which two variables are measured for each participant and the extent to which those variables are related is measured.
