Suppose you performed this test and got agglutination with o antigen and sterile saline. eliminating contamination of the antige

Here the sensitivity is very low that is the reason why the condition happened. The error resulted are not highly specific. The reason for binding is because the unnecessary binding occurred.
Agglutination between saline and O antigen shows that there is a contamination which is acting as an agglutination.
The contamination can present as an antiserum or as an antigen or may be in chemical or physical agents and they are termed as the responsible factors for agglutination.

Methylphenidate is a cerebral stimulant that can interfere with sleep, it should therefore not be administered within 6 hours of bedtime. It may also cause nausea, anorexia (eating disorder), and dry mouth, which interfere with appetite and adequate food intake; therefore it should be administered after the child has taken breakfast. It should be taken exactly as prescribed by the nurse or specialists and not as a needed basis.

Genetic drift always causes:________ a) equilibrium in genetic frequencies. b) maladaptive changes in gene frequencies. c) adapt
ArbitrLikvidat [17]

Answer:

The correct option is (D).Genetic drift is otherwise known as the Sewall Wright effect or allelic drift and is defined as the change in the allelic frequency of a given population that results due to random sampling .

Explanation:

Genetic drift refers to a phenomenon that is characterized by the change in the allelic frequency of a given population. It results in the disappearance of the gene variants that eventually leads to a reduction in the genetic variation. Occurrence of chance phenomena like emigration and immigration and independent selection eventually leads to genetic drift. This leads to the increment in the homozygosity as the changes in the associated allelic frequency does not move in the optimum predefined direction. The major driving forces is the genetic mutation or migration apart from random selection. The increased frequency and the fixation of rare alleles also occur due to genetic drift.
