The answer is 7/11
If you plug in arcsin 7/11 in calculator, you get 39.5212
Then Subtract 39.5212 from 90 which is 57.4788
Then put cos(57.4788) in calculator and you should get something like 0.636363

That answer is also equivalent to 7/11

HELP ASAP TIMED !!!! What is the exact value of cos(c + d), given Sine c = StartFraction 24 Over 25 EndFraction for c in Quadran
Keith_Richards [23]

9514 1404 393

Answer:

  D

Step-by-step explanation:

In the second quadrant, ...

  c = 180° -arcsin(24/25) ≈ 106.26°

In the third quadrant, ...

  d = 360° -arccos(-3/4) ≈ 221.41°

Then cos(c+d) = cos(327.67°) ≈ 0.84498

This is a positive irrational number, greater than 21/100, so the only reasonable choice is the last one:

  \dfrac{21+24\sqrt{7}}{100}\approx 0.84498

_____

Perhaps you want to work this out using the trig identities.

  cos(c) = -√(1 -sin(c)²) = -7/25

  sin(d) = -√(1 -cos(d)²) = -(√7)/4

Then the desired cosine is ...

  cos(c+d) = cos(c)cos(d) -sin(c)sin(d)

  cos(c+d) = (-7/25)(-3/4) -(24/25)(-√7/4)

  cos(c+d) = (21 +24√7)/100 . . . . matches choice D

How do you find the perimeter of a triangle?
vazorg [7]
To find the perimeter<span> of a polygon, take the sum of the length of each side. The formula for </span>perimeter<span> of a triangle would be the sum of the three side lengths (a +b+c). In the case, where it is a regular polygon, the perimeter would be 3 times the side length. Hope this answers the question.</span>

The total revenue for Dante's Villas is given as the function R(x)=700x−0.5x^2, where x is the number of villas rented. What num
yan [13]

The revenue function is,

R(x)=700x-0.5x^2

For maximum and minimum value, the first derivative of function is equal to 0.

Determine the first derivative of revenue function.

\begin{gathered} \frac{d}{dx}R(x)=\frac{d}{dx}(700x-0.5x^2) \\ R^{\prime}(x)=700-0.5\cdot2x \\ =700-x \end{gathered}

For maximum and minimum value, R'(x) = 0. So

\begin{gathered} 0=700-x \\ 700=x \end{gathered}

Since x = 700 corresponds to maximum or minimum value of revenue.

Determine the second derivative of revenue function.

\begin{gathered} \frac{d}{dx}R^{\prime}(x)=\frac{d}{dx}(700-x) \\ R^{\doubleprime}(x)=-1 \end{gathered}

Since second derivative of revenue function is less than 0 for every value of x. So x = 700 corresponds to maximum value of revenue.

So 700 villas rented to produce maximum revenue.

Answer: 700 villas
