The answer is 7/11
If you plug in arcsin 7/11 in calculator, you get 39.5212
Then Subtract 39.5212 from 90 which is 57.4788
Then put cos(57.4788) in calculator and you should get something like 0.636363

That answer is also equivalent to 7/11

Explain why the quotient of two integers with different signs is negative PLEASE.
faltersainse [42]

Answer:

Ok, so we have the fact that plus +minus=minus

Thats the fact. It always works that way that same signs means positive and different means negative, as explained with logic.

4+(-5)

So we know that 4 is positive and -5 is negative

if you look at it through a number line, substracting 5 from 4 you have

3--->2---->1---->0---->-1

Under zero, the negatives start, so its proved by maths and logic as well.

12(3-2x)=84 solve for x.
OlgaM077 [116]
12(3-2x) = 84

do distributive multiplication:

12(3) + 12(-2x) = 84
36 - 24x = 84

Deduct 36 to both sides

36 - 36 - 24x = 84 - 36
-24x = 48

divide -24 to both sides

-24x / -24 = 48/-24
x = -2

To check:
12(3-2x) = 84
12(3-2(-2) = 84
12(3+4) = 84
12(7) = 84
84 = 84

______To test the efficacy of vitamin C in preventing colds, army recruits are randomly assigned to one of two groups: one in wh
kipiarov [429]

Answer:

This type of study design is

Clinical Trial

Step-by-step explanation:

  • It is clinical trial because in this study design a treatment is given to the individuals and then we observe this treatment. In this experiment, we are studying the effects by giving 500 mg of Vitamin and Placebo to the soldiers.
  • It is not a cross-sectional study because this type of study is used to analyze characteristic of the population depending upon data but this study is not used for disease.
  • It is also not a case-control study as well as prospective cohort study because case-control study is used to observe the new cases of a disease while prospective cohort study is used for determining risks or exposure factors of a disease.
  • It is not a community trial as in which a community is under observation like a city or a country and it is also not a historical prospective cohort study because in this study type, we observe the cohorts (similar objects) with the different qualities. They are studied on the basis of these qualities.

A die was rolled eight times. The rolls were 2, 2, 3, 4, 4, 5, 6, and 6. What is the mean absolute deviation for this data? A) 1
adoni [48]

Answer:

The correct option is A:

MAD = 1 + 1/4

Step-by-step explanation:

For a set of N elements {x₁, x₂, ..., xₙ}

The mean is calculated as:

M = \frac{x_1 + x_2 + ... + x_n}{N}

And the mean absolute deviation is calculated as:

MAD = \frac{Ix_1 - MI + Ix_2 - MI + ...+ IX_n - MI}{N}

Here we have the set of 8 elements:

{ 2, 2, 3, 4, 4, 5, 6, 6}

The mean of this set is:

M = (2 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 6)/8 = 4

Then the mean standard deviation is:

MAD = \frac{I2 - 4I + I2 - 4I + I3 - 4I + I4 - 4I + I4 - 4I + I5 - 4I + I6 - 4I + I6 - 4I}{8} = 10/8

If we simplify this, we get:

MAD = 10/8 = 5/4  = (4 + 1)/4 = 4/4 + 1/4 = 1 + 1/4

MAD = 1 + 1/4

The correct option is A.
