S-  Specific

M- Measurable

A-  Attainable/Actionable

R-  Relevant/Realistic

T-  Time-Bound/Timed

The outcome for anyone who is using a S.M.A.R.T goal for their workout should consist of the following. If you follow it appropriately you should meet your goals/standards and even if they aren't met there aren't any consequences assigned with this type of goal.

Honestly this is a great way to keep your priorities in check and plan a way to  meet an achievable goal.
