The value of tan3x must be greater than the value of cos3x, because it is subtractable by a lesser value.

How do I find 45% of 320 by multiplying?
Juliette [100K]
1. We assume, that the number 320 is 100% - because it's the output value of the task.
<span>2. We assume, that x is the value we are looking for. </span>
<span>3. If 320 is 100%, so we can write it down as 320=100%. </span>
<span>4. We know, that x is 45% of the output value, so we can write it down as x=45%. </span>
5. Now we have two simple equations:
1) 320=100%
2) x=45%
where left sides of both of them have the same units, and both right sides have the same units, so we can do something like that:
320/x=100%/45%
6. Now we just have to solve the simple equation, and we will get the solution we are looking for.

7. Solution for what is 45% of 320

320/x=100/45
<span>(320/x)*x=(100/45)*x       - </span>we multiply both sides of the equation by x
<span>320=2.22222222222*x       - </span>we divide both sides of the equation by (2.22222222222) to get x
<span>320/2.22222222222=x </span>
<span>144=x </span>
x=144

<span>now we have: </span>
<span>45% of 320=144</span>

How can we find the volume of a cone? explain in brief .
densk [106]

\sf volume \ of \ cone = \dfrac{1}{3} \pi r^2h     ** where "r" is radius and "h" is height **

\sf volume \ of \ cylinder=  \pi r^2h

\boxed{ \sf \tfrac{1}{3}} as it refers to the volume of cone being 1/3 of the the volume of cylinder

Hardest, example:

given height of cone is 69 km and radius is 48 km

using the formula:

\hookrightarrow \sf volume \ of \ cone = \dfrac{1}{3} \pi (48)^2(69)

\hookrightarrow \sf volume \ of \ cone = 52992\pi

\hookrightarrow \sf volume \ of \ cone = 166479.3 \ km^3

Find the gradient, picture below
hoa [83]

Answer:

\frac{dy}{dx}  =  \frac{13}{8}

Step-by-step explanation:

y = 2x + 6 {x}^{ -  \frac{1}{2} }  \\  \frac{dy}{dx} = 2 + 6( -  \frac{1}{2}) {x}^{ -  \frac{1}{2} - 1 }   \\  \frac{dy}{dx}  = 2 - 3 {x}^{ -  \frac{3}{2} }  \\ \frac{dy}{dx}  = 2 -  \frac{3}{ \sqrt{ {x}^{3} } }

When x = 4,

\frac{dy}{dx}  = 2 -  \frac{3}{ \sqrt{ {4}^{3} } }  \\  =  \frac{13}{8}
