I think most scientists would not respect this researchers claim.
It doesn't seem like the researcher followed the steps of the scientific method.
1.) Making an observation.
2.)Asking questions.
3.)Forming a hypothesis.
4.)Conducting an experiment.
5.)Analyzing Data.
6.)Drawing a conclusion.
7.)Showing work to others.
Publishing his/her work would be the very last step after completing everything else.

<u>Stratum basale</u> is the layer of epidermis that will be supplied with the highest levels of oxygen from the blood. Epidermis has five layers, and stratum basale is the deepest one of them, thus it gets the most oxygen from the blood. Above it, these layers are found: stratum spinosum, stratum granulosum, stratum lucidum, and stratum corneum is closest to our outer skin.
Other hawks, eagles, owls can prey on them. The Goshawk is well known for removing any competitors from it's territory, even larger species. Large owls sometimes take hawks that are roosting at night or even when they are incubating eggs. Any type of cat, or dog, or marten, indeed any carnivorous mammal.
