The answer is the fourth one.
y has a line under meaning it has to be a shaded line.
x doesn’t have a line under meaning it had to be a dotted line.
the number of x is -3
so 2 and 3 can’t be the answer
y hits -2 and choice 1 is +1
if you solve for y in the 4th option it would be y > -4/5x - 2
so 4 is the correct choice

Answer:

The last option

Step-by-step explanation:

You can easily eliminate option 1 and 2 since -1 or 1 is not the y-intercept of the bold line.

You can eliminate the third option since a dotted line does not represent a "equal to"

Option 4: 5y > -4x - 10 is y > -4/5x - 2

What is the parallel to 2x-3y=6 and passing through(-3,1) ...?
seraphim [82]
Parallel lines have equal slopes.

2x-3y=6
\\-3y=-2x+6
\\
\\y= \frac{2}{3} x-2
\\
\\m= \frac{2}{3}
\\
\\(-3,1) \Rightarrow x_1=-3,y_1=1
\\
\\y-y_1=m(x-x_1)
\\
\\y-1=\frac{2}{3}(x-(-3))
\\
\\y-1=\frac{2}{3}(x+3)
\\
\\y-1=\frac{2}{3}x+2
\\
\\3y-3=2x+6
\\
\\2x-3y+9=0
