Answer:

1. CEF = 66 degress

2. JK = 8

 GH = 16

Step-by-step explanation:

Part 1

Since triangle DEF is formed by connecting midpoints of side of triangle ABC, according to midpoint theorem, the sides of triangles DEF parallel to sides os triangles ABC

so angle CEF is congruent to angle ABC = 66 degrees

Part 2

According to midpoint theorem: JK = 1/2GH

since 5x - 12 = 1/2(5x - 4)

2(5x - 12) = 5x - 4

10x - 24 = 5x - 4

10x - 5x = 24 - 4

5x = 20

x = 4

so JK = 5x - 12 = 5(4) - 12 = 8

GH = 5x - 4 = 5(4) - 4 = 16

Find the area of EFGH
asambeis [7]

The area of triangle EFG with a base of 2 feet and height of 8 feet is 8 ft².

What is an equation?

An equation is an expression that shows the relationship between two or more numbers and variables.

Let h represent the height of triangle ABC, hence:

18 ft² = (1/2) * 3 * h

h = 12 ft

Let x represent the height of triangle EFG, hence:

x/12 = 2/3

x = 8 feet

Area of EFG = (1/2) * 2 * 8 = 8 ft²

The area of triangle EFG with a base of 2 feet and height of 8 feet is 8 ft².

Connor works in a department store selling clothing. He makes a guaranteed salary of $300 per week, but is paid a commission on
melisa1 [442]

Answer:

Earnings = 308.75 ---- (a)

Earnings = 300 + 0.05x -- (b)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Base\ Salary = 300

Commission = 5\%

Solving (a): Sales of $2175 in a week.

His total earnings is calculated as thus:

Earnings = Base\ Salary + Commission * Sales

Earnings = 300 + 5\% * 2175

Earnings = 300 + 108.75

Earnings = 308.75

Solving (b): Sales of $x in a week.

His total earnings is calculated as thus:

Earnings = Base\ Salary + Commission * Sales

Earnings = 300 + 5\% * x

Convert percent to decimal

Earnings = 300 + 0.05 * x

Earnings = 300 + 0.05x

Inessa05 [86]

Answer:

\frac{61}{100} , 61/100

Step-by-step explanation:

First we need to add all of the fractions before or at the 1980s, they have the same denominator, so we simply just add. It comes out to 39/100. Subtract 39 from 100 and we get 61 out of 100 or 61/100 or 61%.
