6 0

Answer: 0 and 3/40

Step-by-step explanation:

For the first one the slope is 0 because to have a slope the y must be rising, but here it is staying the same level so it is just 0.

The second one rises by .6 and goes right by 8 which is .6/8 which is equivalent to the fraction 3/40. However on the grid it goes up 1 and right 2 for each point so it could be 1/2, but I am sure of the first one.

Is 2/3 an improper fraction or a mixed number
Drupady [299]
It's neither.
If it were to be an improper fraction, it would be something like 3/2 instead of 2/3.
If it were to be a mixed number, it would look like 1 1/3.

Given: △ABC; AB=BC, m∠BDA = 60°, BD=4 cm, BD ⊥ BA . Find: DC, AC.
vekshin1

Answer:

DC = 10.93 cm ,  AC = 9.8 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

From trigonometry;

⇒ Tan 60 = AB/BD

⇒AB = BD Tan 60 ( where BD = 4 cm )

⇒ AB = 6.93 cm

Also, AB=BC , therefore;

⇒ BC = 6.93 cm

⇒ Cos 60 = BD/AD

⇒ AD = BD/ Cos 60 = 4/Cos 60

⇒ AD = 8 cm

From Pythagoras theorem;

⇒ AC^{2} = AB^{2} + BC^{2} = (6.93)^{2} + (6.93)^{2}

⇒ AC = \sqrt{96.05} = 9.80 cm

⇒ DC = BD + BC = 4 + 6.93

⇒ DC = 10.93 cm
