There are different ways to support a claim. The description of Elisa’s daily routine support the author’s claim that It provides anecdotal evidence of a teenage fast food employee living like an adult.

The excerpt was gotten from the drama, Fast Food Nation. This was a 2006 comedy-drama film. The film was directed by Richard Linklater and its writers were Linklater and Eric Schlosser.  

There are a lot of criticism of fast food industry. There are the claims of negative health effects, children targeted marketing etc. Due to the fact that Teenagers are often used in fast food sales, they tend to grow into it quickly and gradually begins to behave and live like adult.
