The answer is A, 75 degrees
add all like terms
2x+196
all triangles equal 180 degrees
2x+196=180
subtract the 196 from 180
2x= -16
divide
x= -8
plug into angle A
-8+83
A=75

List all integers between −100 and 100 that are congruent to −1 modulo 25.
777dan777 [17]

"-1 modulo 25" is "1 less than a precise multiple of 25".
So what are the exact or precise multiples of 25 in the appropriate interval?
It is -75, -50, -25, 0, 25, 50, 75, and 100.
Now just subtract 1 from each of them.

So the answers are -76, -51, -26, -1, 24, 49, 74, and 99.

guapka [62]
From the given figure,
the length of segment SP is 5 - 1 = 4,
the length of segment SR is 8 - 1 = 7,
the length of segment QR is 5 - 1 = 4,
the length of segment PQ is 8 - 1 = 7.

The length of segment MJ is 4 - 1 = 3,
the length of segment ML is 8 - 4 = 4
the length of segment KL is 4 - 1 = 3
the length of segment JK is 8 - 4 = 4

<span>segment SP to segment SR is 4 : 7
</span><span>segment MJ to segment ML is 3 : 4
</span>
<span>segment PQ to segment QR is 7 : 4
</span>segment JK to segment KL is 4 : 3

Because the ratio of any corresponding segments of the two rectangles to another segment is not equal, the two rectangles are not similar.

Therefore, the correct statement is "<span>The two tiles are not similar because segment PQ is to segment QR is 7:4 and segment JK is to segment KL is 4:3"</span>

In order to solve the system of equations below, Harvey multiplies each equation by a constant to eliminate the x
Zina [86]

Answer:

14x + 6y = 10

14x + 35y = -77

Step-by-step explanation:

Multiply the top one by 2

14x + 6y = 10

Multiply the bottom one by 7

14x + 35y = -77

His next step is to subtract. You could have done this by multiplying the top one by -2

-14x - 6y = - 10

14x + 35y = -77     Now all you need do is add.  The question now becomes what do you do? What answer do you give? I think the expected answer is the top two equations, but if I was actually doing the problem, I'd use the bottom 2.
