Answer: Both

Explanation:

KE can be solve using the formula:

ke = 0.5 mv^2

where m is the mass of the object

v is the velocity

ke = 0.5 ( 2 kg ) ( 5 m/s)^2

ke = 25 J

the GPE can be solved using the formula:

GPE = mgh

where m is the mass

g is the acceleration due to gravity ( 9.81 m/s^2)

h is the height

GPE = ( 4 kg)(9.81 m/s^2)( 40 m)

GPE = 392.4 J

I hope this helps, have a great day!!

A niche is the role an animal plays in its environment. A giraffes niche would be their long necks. With their necks they can reach up higher and eat where no other animals can eat. Giraffes don't have to compete with other animals for their food so they live peacefully with other animals.

Could ash be harmful to an environment?
weeeeeb [17]
Ash can be harmful to an environment. It mostly depends on how much ash there is though. If a volcano erupted such as Mt. St. Helen's then yes that can harm an environment. Ash can cover the sky and block out the sun for days before disappearing and that will affect the life of plants

What is the process the does not require oxygen?
erastova [34]

Answer:

The process that does not require oxygen is fermentation.

Explanation:

Fermentation is an alternative route of cellular respiration for obtaining energy, in the absence of oxygen. In aerobic respiration, oxygen is the acceptor of electrons from NADH but, in anaerobic respiration, the electron acceptor is an organic compound.

The fermentation process does not occur in the mitochondria nor does it involve the electron transport chain, and has a low energy yield at the end of the process.

With respect to the other options:

 • The electron transport chain and the Krebs cycle occur in the presence of oxygen.
