A. Finding an area in their environment where temperature remains relatively constant

True. The main instinct for animals facing a sudden change in temperature is to take shelter somewhere that maintains a constant temperature.

B. Generating heat internally to help maintain a constant temperature

True. Endothermic animals produce most of the heat internally. When the temperature is low, they increase metabolic heat production to keep your body temperature constant. Therefore we say the body temperature of an endothermic animal independent of the ambient temperature. Some endothermic animals: humans, polar bears, penguins and dogs.

C. Heterozygotes

False. Heterozygote is a term used for an individual in which the alleles of one or more genes are different.

D. Adapting their internal processes to be compatible with the temperatures that they can survive

True. The temperature of ectothermic animals, such as reptiles and amphibians, depends on external heat sources. That is, the temperature of these animals increases or decreases as the temperature of the external environment. Although they also generate a little metabolic heat, it is not enough to maintain a specific internal temperature like endotherms.

E. Inhibiting changes in their metabolism

False. An individual cannot completely inhibit their metabolic changes. It is possible to regulate metabolism (speeding up or slowing down), but preventing these changes from happening on a voluntary basis is not possible.

Mars2501 [29]
It’s possible the other 90% was excreted ? Because a lot of the energy may not be useful to the mouse’s system. ... hmmm. That’s all I could think of, sorry I can’t be a better help ;w;
