\huge\underline\mathtt\colorbox{lime}{Anglo-Saxons}

Explanation:

The Romans had employed the mercenary services of the Saxons for hundreds of years, preferring to fight alongside them rather than against these fierce warriors. An arrangement, which probably worked well with the Roman military in place to control their numbers, using their mercenary services on an as required basis. Without the Romans in place at the ports of entry to issue visas and stamp passports however, immigration numbers appear to have got a little out of hand.

First Saxon warriors raided England’s south and east coasts. Little mercy was shown as men, women and children were slaughtered. A British monk Adomnan, suggested a Law of Innocents to protect the women and children. The Saxons appear to have rejected this strange and foreign concept! Following these early Saxon raids, from around AD430 a host of Germanic migrants arrived in east and southeast England. The main groups being Jutes from the Jutland peninsula (modern Denmark); Angles from Angeln in southwest Jutland and the Saxons from northwest Germany. Much fun and fighting followed over the next hundred years or so as the invading kings and their armies established their kingdoms. Most of these kingdoms survive to this day, and are perhaps better know as the English counties / regions of; Kent (Jutes), Sussex (south Saxons), Wessex (west Saxons), Middlesex (middle Saxons), East Anglia (east Angles) and Northumbria (land north of the Humber).

________ is a nonconsequential consideration for active voluntary euthanasia.
iogann1982 [59]
I believe the answer is autonomy.
Autonomy based argument to do euthanasia is based on the fact that we give freedom to all people to do whatever we want to our body.
For example, if the patient is experiencing an excruciating pain from bone cancer (to the point where morphine could no longer help), Euthanasia may seem like a rational option.

Write A Story Using The Words : prediction, connotation, primary source, personification and chronological.
sergiy2304 [10]
Words used: prediction, connotation, primary source, personification and chronological

A Story about history, and how it affected us….Before 2012, many people believed that the year 2012 was going to be the end of the world. This prediction was based off of the Mayan Calendar, a primary source of its own, made at ~August 11, 3114 BC. Why is this a primary source? Because the Mayans themselves made the calendar, and based everything off of it. However, rest assure, because the world didn’t end yet. (obviously, because its like what 2017 right now [delete this ()]). Many people believed this to be true, and thousands of people rushed to get ready for this ‘end of the world’. They bought food and water in large quantities (and with their life savings) and waited out in underground shelters. The connotation of the phrase “end of the world” scares many. They never want to think of what or where the world is going, and the end of the world. Instead, they look towards the past, and try to learn lessons from the past so that they do not make the same mistakes today, because if the same mistakes happen today, well, you never know where the world will lead to tomorrow. How do they look towards the past? Well, they do NOT take bits and pieces from different timezones randomly. Instead, researchers try to find history that actually has an effect on today or tomorrow. Take for example, the world wars. People go in chronological order from even before the start of the war to a little after it, to learn of the reasons the war started, what happened during the war, and the consequences of fighting the war, and how it affects people. After that, many people would write nonfiction and fictional stories about it, sometimes adding personification to animals that “viewed” the battle while it was going on. An example of this, is “War Horse”, by Michael Morpurgo, in which a horse by the name of Joey, is given a personification, and tells us of an experience a horse had in real-life history (from a farm animal to a animal that survived WW1). With all of this information that is given to us from history, both the problems, and the resolution, it is up to us to learn what is best for our current situation, and to not make the same mistakes again.

Diagnosed with major depressive disorder, is anhedonia.

Relationships, particularly those with friends and family, become difficult when someone has anhedonia. It's challenging to be motivated to interact with others when the incentive of enjoyment is gone. You could decline invitations and avoid social gatherings like parties, concerts, and even one-on-one interactions because you no longer see the point in participating.

Anhedonia is the inability to feel pleasure. It's a common symptom of depression as well as other mental health disorders. Most people understand what pleasure feels like. They expect certain things in life to make them happy.
