It all depends on the divisor.

You need to make sure the decimal of the divisor is at the end.

For example, 2.09 divided by 0.19

You need to move the decimal point of 0.19 two times to the right so the decimal point is at the end.

If the divisor is a whole number, the decimal would stay at the same position.

For example, 25.5 divided by 5, the decimal would stay since 5's decimal point is already at the end (5.)

See attachment if you want to see it visual. Writing on computer is hard tho.

Answer:

Take note that the quotient's decimal point is precisely above the dividend's decimal point. To divide a decimal by a whole number, move the decimal point in the quotient above the decimal point in the dividend and divide as usual.

use the method of successive differences to determine the next term in the sequence: 4, 14, 82, 268, 657, 1359
IRISSAK [1]
The method of successive differences uses subtraction to the one number to the next and the process goes on until the difference settles constant which is not equal to zero. In this case, the constant difference reaches 25. Reversing the process to get the next term, the answer is 2509.
