Paris used a simulation to take two random samples of fish in a pond. Her sample size was 30, and the table shows the frequency

of each fish in the sample. Paris used the two samples to predict that the average number of trout will be 6, the average number of catfish will be 5, and the average number of bass will be 18.
A 3-column table with 3 rows. Column 1 is labeled Fish type with entries brook trout, catfish, smallmouth bass. Column 2 is labeled Frequency Sample 1 with entries 12, 5, 13. Column 3 is labeled Frequency sample 2 with entries 1, 6, 23.

Is Paris correct in her predictions? Check all the apply.
Yes, her samples represent the population.
No, Paris should have used only the results of the first sample.
No, Paris should have used only the results of the second sample.
No, the two samples do not have similar values, so more samples are needed.
No, the samples are not representative of the population.

Answer:

No, let's take a look back at the question

Step-by-step explanation:

Samples are literally representation of the population.

The true statements are:

D. No, the two samples do not have similar values, so more samples are needed.

E. No, the samples are not representative of the population.

From the table, the difference between the frequencies of book trout and bass fish are too large.

This means that the prediction do not estimate actual sample

So, the true options are (d) and (e)

Four more than half of the students in Bryan’s homeroom have tickets to attend the school’s musical. 20 students have tickets. S
vlabodo [156]

Answer:

<h2>The option B and D are the equations.</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

Let, the total number of students are x.

The number of students having the ticket is 4 + \frac{x}{2}.

It is given that the number is 20.

Hence, 4 + \frac{x}{2} = 20\\4 = 20 - \frac{x}{2}.

Option B is the equation.

Option D is also the same.

The difference is just, the variable is wriiten in the other side.

Can someone help me, I don’t get this
dmitriy555 [2]

I'll break it down for you. Here are the main points:

-has 2 large servings

-made from 9 pints

-x represents how many pints

-y represents how many servings

Now that we know this we can find what each serving comes out to be for example:

\frac{9}{2\\}=4.5 or 4\frac{1}{2}

So for each serving it will come out to be 4.5 pints.

Now that we know this we can figure out the slope to find what the equation which is for example the slope for this equation would be rise over run for example:

\frac{rise}{run}=\frac{1}{4.5}=\frac{2}{9}when simplified.

So our equation would be (also the answer) y=\frac{2}{9}x

Hope this helps my dude ^^ If you have more questions go ahead and ask.
