The target heart rate of the 45 year old client with a resting heart rate of 75 bpm is; 135 bpm

Complete question is;

A client is 45 years old and has a resting heart rate of 75 bpm using the karvonen formula what is their target heart rate at an exercise intensity of 60%.

We are given;

Age of client = 45 years

Resting Heart rate = 75 bpm

%Intensity = 60%

The karvonen formula is;

Target Heart Rate = [(max HR − resting HR) × %Intensity] + resting HR

Formula for maximum heart rate is;

Max HR = 220 - age

Max heart rate = 220 - 45

Max HR = 175 bpm

Thus;

Target Heart rate = [(175 - 75) × 0.6] + 75

Target Heart rate = (100 × 0.6) + 75

Target Heart rate = 60 + 75

Target Heart rate = 135 bpm

In casting experiments performed using a certain alloy.
jeyben [28]
Answer:
A) Cm = 2.232 s/mm²
B) Time taken to solidify = 74.3 seconds
Explanation:
(A) Since a side is 50mm and all sides of a cube are equal, thus, Volume of the cube is;V = 50 x 50 x 50 = 125,000 mm³
There are 6 faces of the cube, thus Surface Area A = 6 x (50 x 50) = 15,000 mm²
So, Volume/Area = (V/A) = 125,000/15,000 = 8.333 mm
Cm is given by the formula; Cm =[Tts] /(V/A)² where Tts is time taken to solidify and it's 155 seconds in the question. Thus;
Cm = 155/(8.333)²= 2.232 s/mm²
(B) For;Cylindrical casting with D = 30 mm and L = 50 mm.;
Volume of cylinder is;
V = (πD²L) /4
So,V = (π x 30² x 50)/4 = 35,343mm³
Surface area of cylinder is;
A = (2πD²)/4 + (πDL)
Thus, A = ((π x 30²)/2) + (π x 30 x 50) = 6126 mm²
Volume/Area is;
V/A = 35,343/6126 = 5.77 mm
Same alloy and mold type was hsed as in a above, thus, Cm is still 2.232 s/mm²
Since Cm =[Tts] /(V/A)²
Making Tts the subject, we have;
Tts =Cm x (V/A)²
Tts = 2.232 x (5.77)² = 74.3 seconds

melomori [17]

Sir Isaac Newton is buried at Westminster Abbey in London.

Queen Elizabeth I is most likely to also be buried there.

Who is Sir Isaac Newton?

Isaac Newton, or Sir Isaac Newton, was an English physicist and mathematician who was the pinnacle of the Scientific Revolution of the 17th century. Newton was born in Woolsthorpe, Lincolnshire, England, on December 25, 1642 (or January 4, 1643, New Style), and died in London on March 20 [or March 31, 1727].

His understanding of the nature of white light in optics helped to incorporate the color-related phenomena into the study of light and laid the groundwork for contemporary physical optics. The law of universal gravitation was developed in mechanics as a result of his three laws of motion, which are the cornerstones of contemporary physics.

Which of the following are the best examples of vernacular regions?
aleksandrvk [35]

Answer:

The best examples of vernacular regions are the American West and the American Midwest

For better understanding, we have to explain what vernacular regions means.

The Vernacular Region is commonly referred to as the perceptual region.

It is often referred to as a place or region where individuals think exits due to their cultural identity. The vernacular regions came about due to people's informal sense of place, instead of scientific models created through geographic reasoning. it generally depicts a "sense of place"

An example of vernacular region is the the gold coast of florida, American West and the American Midwest.

From the above, we can say therefore that the answer The best examples of vernacular regions are the American West and the American Midwest is true.

Jim began a 208-mile bicycle trip to build up stamina for a triathlon competition. Unfortunately, his bicycle chain broke, so
GREYUIT [131]

Answer:

4.5 hours

Explanation:

Let the time for the bicycle be t, then the time for walking is 7 - t

Distance for walking is 4*(7 - t)

Distance for cycling is 44*t

Total distance 4*(7 - t) + 44t = 208

28 - 4t + 44t = 208

40t = 208 - 28 = 180

so t = 180/40 = 4.5 hours.
