Option C: -6rs^5

The last two terms given of the standard polynomial are:

\cdots + 8r^2s^4 +  3r^3s^3

This shows 2 patterns to us:

r 's degree is increasing per term in the given polynomial.

s 's degree is decreasing per term in the given polynomial.

The sum of powers of variates r and s is 2+4 = 3+3  = 6.

And since standard polynomial, the same pattern must be present in all terms of the series.

All options except C are not valid.

Option C has term -6rs^5 for which r's degree plus s's degree is 1 + 5 = 6.

And r's degree 1 <  s's degree 5.

Thus its a valid term to be putted as first term in standard form of polynomial in consideration.

Thus Option C: -6rs^5  is the needed expression.

How to use the zero product property and factoring solve for X
Marta_Voda [28]
Using the zero product property you can set each expression equal to 0 (or factor for some of them)
All you have to do is set them equal to zero and simplify to solve for x

a. (x+13)=0
x= -13
(x-7)=0
x=7

b. (2x+3)=0
x=-3/2
(3x-7)=0
x=7/3

c. x=0
(x-3)=0
x=3

d. x^{2} -5x=0&#10; needs to be factored
factor out an x to get:
x(x-5) and set each equal to 0
x = 0
(x-5)=0
x=5

e. x^{2} -2x-35=0&#10; also needs to be factored
(x-7)(x+5)=0
(x-7)=0       (x+5)=0
x=7   x=-5

f. 3x^{2} +14x-5=0
Also needs to be factored using the ac method:
3 x^{2} +15x-x-5
3 x^{2} (x+5)-1(x+5)
(3x-1)(x+5)=0&#10;
(3x-1)=0
x=1/3
(x+5)=0
x=-5

I hope this helps! (if so, give brainliest please!!)

Brainleist<br> help pls<br> 10 points
Harrizon [31]

Answer:

m \angle  A = 100 \degree

Step-by-step explanation:

<em>Given:</em>

<em>m \angle A= (x-60) \degree \\ m \angle B= (x-40) \degree \\ m \angle C= 130\degree \\ m \angle D= 120\degree \\ m \angle E= 110\degree \\ m \angle F= (x-20) \degree</em>

Also, the given diagram is a perfect hexagon, having sum of all interior angles 720°

<em>To find</em><em>:</em>

<em>m \angle A= ?</em>

<em>Solution</em><em>:</em>

\sf \: Sum  \: of \:  all  \: interior \:  angles = 720 \degree \\  \sf \: m \angle A + m \angle B + m \angle C  + m \angle D + m \angle E + m \angle F = 720 \degree\\  \sf \: (x - 60) + (x - 40) +130 + 120 + 110 +  (x - 20) = 720 \degree \\  \sf \: 3x - 120 + 120 + 240 = 720 \\ \sf 3x -  \cancel{120}+ \cancel{120} + 240 = 720 \\ \sf 3x = 720 - 240 \\ \sf 3x = 480 \\ \sf x =  \frac{480}{3}  \\  \fbox{\sf x = 160 \degree}

Substituting the value of x in,

m \angle A= (x-60) \degree \\ m \angle A= 160-60 \\  m \angle  A = 100 \degree

What is an example equivalent to <br> 9(5x-7y+4z) that results from using the distributive property
shepuryov [24]

Answer:

45x - 63 y + 36 z

Step-by-step explanation:

When I think of the distributive property, I imagine giving the outside term to everyone on the inside (multiplying).

9 (5x - 7y + 4z)

= 9 (5x) + 9 (-7y) + 9 (4z)

= 45x - 63 y + 36 z

Good luck with your math!
