In the figure below, angle y and angle x form vertical angles. Angle y forms a straight line with the 60° angle and the 70° angl

e. A straight line is shown and is marked with three angles. The first angle measures 60 degrees. The second angle measures 60 degrees. The third angle is labeled y. The line between the 70 degree angle and angle y extends below the straight line. The angle formed is labeled angle x. Write and solve an equation to determine the measure of angle x.

Answer:

 • The value of x is 50°.

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that:

 • x = y
 • 2(70 + 60) + x + y = 360

Work:

 • 2(130) + x + x = 360
 • => 260 + 2x = 360
 • => 2x = 360 - 260
 • => 2x = 100
 • => x = 50

Hence, the value of x is 50°.

Hoped this helped.

Answer:

x =50° , y = 50°

we know that angles on a straight line equals to 180°

here,

y + 70° + 60° = 180° ( as lies on straight line )

y = 180° - 70° - 60° ( changing sides, changes the sign + to - and - to positive )

y = 50°

we can see y = x as they are parallel to each other

so x = 50°

Which number rounds to 260 when rounded to the nearest 10?
mylen [45]
I looked it up and got this........

What is 260 rounded to the nearest ten?
Here we will tell you what 260 is rounded to the nearest ten and also show you what rules we used to get to the answer. First, 260 rounded to the nearest ten is:
260
Remember, we did not necessarily round up or down, but to the ten that is nearest to 260.
When rounding to the nearest ten, like we did with 260 above, we use the following rules:
A) We round the number up to the nearest ten if the last digit in the number is 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9.
B) We round the number down to the nearest ten if the last digit in the number is 1, 2, 3, or 4.
C) If the last digit is 0, then we do not have to do any rounding, because it is already to the ten.
