  • Total = 16 + 3 + 2
  • Total  = 21

If there are <em>112 more blue counters than white counters</em>, then;

number of blues = number of white + 112

16x = 2x + 112

14x = 112

x = 8

Number of white counters = 2x = 2(8) = 16

Therefore we will have 16 white counters in the bag.
