Okay so as you know 2piR is the formula for circumference.

But in the question it was that u should 3.14 instead of pi.

So for the first question you would do 30 divided by 2 because 30 is the diameter. Then the radius is 15.

Then 15x2x3.14 will give you the circumference which is 94.2cm

Then for question 2 we do 25 x 2 x 3.14 which will give us 157m (always remember units)

For question 3 we would use 22/7 instead of 3.14
So what you would do is 42x22/7x2 which will give you 264cm

Then question 4 is more tricker because you would have to do 180 divided by 360 to give you 2. Then we divide 10 which is 5. Then 5 x 22/7 x 2 which is as a fraction 31 3/7m

Then thats all :)

Solve the system by graphing.
suter [353]

Answer: Option A. The solution set is (4,5)

Step-by-step explanation:

Solve the equation for y to obtain the form of the equation of the line.

You have:

y=-x+9 (The slope is -1 and the y-intercept is 9)

y=x+1 (The slope is 1 and the y-intercept is 1)

When you graph it you obtain the graph shown in the figure attached.

The solution is the intersection of the lines.

Then, the solution set is (4,5)

A plant that manufactures metal plates has a quality control team to check that the plates are the right size. A rectangular pla
Kamila [148]

Answer:

Given the size of rectangular plate in advertisement = 5 cm by 3cm.

Given the condition for length should be = 0.25 of 5 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Now, have to write the inequality from the given data.

Therefore, 5- 0.25 ≤ L ≤ 5+.25

4.75 ≤ L ≤ 5.25

We know that the area of a rectangle = Length × Width.

Width = 3

Thus, the area is 3 × L

3× (4.75) ≤ 3×L ≤3× (5.25)

14.25 ≤ 3×L ≤ 15.75

So the minimum area is 14.25 cm^2

The maximum area is 15.75 cm^2
