Answer:

For Q4 It's (A)

For Q5 it's (D)

Q4-

3(1+x) < x+6 --------- substitute 3

3+3x < x+6

-x. -x. ----- get rid of the same variable because we need to find only one x

_____________

3+2x < 6

-3. -3. ------ to find x we move the 3 to the 6

________

2x < 3

to find x ----> I get rid of the 2 by dividing it by itself

so---- 2x/2 < 3/2

{{{{{x < 1.5 }}}}

this sign "<" means smaller so x is smaller than 1.5

the possible values for x are ---- x={ 0, 1, 0.5.....}

So it's A

_____________________

for Q5.

the uncolored circle O means that the sign is either < or > but if it was colored • then it's ≤ or ≥.

Here, the uncolored circle is on the -3 with a line connected to it towards the largest numbers in the number line.

this shows that x is larger than -3

So, X > -3 ------- (D)

I'm stumped on this one. it's homework and I need help. thanks

Okay so in order to find the circumference we would first need to find either the diameter or radius of the circle. The perimeter of the square is 40 and each side is equal. 40/4 = 10. So the length of one side is 10. The length of one side would be the diameter of the circle.

Diameter = 10

The only thing that is left is to find the circumference.

The formulas for circumference are:
C = \pid
C = 2\pir

So just multiply the diameter by pi (3.14)

10 x 3.14 = 31.4
or 10\pi (Which would be the answer to your problem)
