Answer:

It seems to me that she's really sad at that moment. She's talking down on herself and she's probably making it worse for her. She's also discussing about doing something illegal, which is bad. My rewrite would be everything that she said just turn the frown upside down. :) Hope this helps, but I could be wrong...
