The classification of joint based on movement are Amphiarthrotic, Diarthrotic and Synarthrotic

Functional classification of joints

This classification of joint is according to the degree of movement found between the bones that is forming a joint. Thus, joints are functionally classified as:

 • Synarthrotic: This is an immobile joint that provides a strong union between the articulating bones. Example is the skull.

 • Diarthrotic: This is a freely mobile joint which provides the majority of the body movements. All the synovial joints of the body is a typical example.
 • Amphiarthrotic: This is a joint that has limited mobility. An example of this kind of joint is the pubic symphysis.

Therefore, the three classifications of joints based on movement are Amphiarthrotic, Diarthrotic and Synarthrotic.

To be honest, I'm not that sure on which one it is, but given choices lead me to think is the nervous system, probably because that's the reason our bodies are functioning, and compared to all other systems, the brain and the nervous system are needed for survival, otherwise you wouldn't be living.

Extension is a movement that causes a decrease in a joints angle.

True or False
Rudiy27
Answer:

True

Explanation:

In the limbs, flexion decreases the angle between the bones (bending of the joint), while extension increases the angle and straightens the joint. For the upper limb, all anterior-going motions are flexion and all posterior-going motions are extension.
