Answer: So after reading you need to know what the story is about , whats happening and you  need to understand where the story takes place,need to know who the main character is also you have to discover what the main idea is and think about your thoughts and feelings on the book it's Mostly important that you check for understanding.

Explanation: These things  are important because if you don't know none of these then you won't really understand what the book is about and you won't know what your reading so it's important to know all of these things.
