Answer:

x=7

Step-by-step explanation:

4(5x-2)=2(9x+3) do everything in the parentheses

20x-8=18x+6

+8 +8

20x=18x+14
get X by itself by adding same terms

20x=18x+14

-18x -18x

2x=14 divide

/2 /2

X=7

Often sales of a new product grow rapidly at first and then level off with time. This is the case with the sales represented by
True [87]

Answer:

Here we have the function:

S(t) = 500 - 400*t^(-1)

Then the rate of change at the value t, will be:

S'(t) = dS(t)/dt

This differentiation will be:

S'(t) = -400/t^2

Then:

a) the rate of change at t = 1 is:

S'(1) =  -400/1^2 = -400

The rate of change after one year is -400

b) t = 10

S'(10) = -400/10^2 = -400/100 = -4

The rate of change after 10 years is -4, it reduced as the years passed, as expected.

PLEASE HELP!!
Oksi-84 [34.3K]

Step-by-step explanation:

what is the problem ? just take a deep breath, don't panic and think straight :

1) 12×k, which is usual written as 12k

2) u + 3

3) 1/5 × b = b/5

4) 10 - y

5) (a + 4) / 2

6) you did not say what is n summed with. so, I just designate this by "?".

(? + n) × 4

7) did you mean "take away one sixth from 4" ?

4 - 1/6

this can be simplified, as a whole number can be expressed by x/x (incl. 6/6). so, 4 = 4×6/6 = 24/6.

and so we have

24/6 - 1/6 = 23/6 = 3 5/6

8) d/2, often also written as d:2

9) 7 + v + w

10) the product of what with x ?

I designate this again by "?".

9 + ?x or

9 + ?×x or

9 + ?*x
