Has Tyler managed this situation well?

Health
1 answer:
julsineya [31]2 years ago
3 0

Answer:

He did manage the situation well.

Explanation:

A healthcare provider is not responsible for the emotional immaturity of a patient (recommended read: Boundaries by Henry Cloud and John Townsend). He could have explained to the patient's parents what occurred so they were not confused or better yet could have refused to talk to the 16-year-old privately altogether. Maintaining a professional relationship with patients is paramount (in most cases) as a healthcare provider. Allowing a minor to follow you on social media is inappropriate and may backfire heavily. If Tyler were to accept the friend request he would also open up liability to report any life-threatening psychological posts that Jayden may make seeing as many healthcare providers are mandatory reporters of these sorts of things.

Paul is 17. What is his approximate maximum heart rate?
12345 [234]

Maximum heart rate is the maximum heart rate (the number of times your heart beats per minute (bpm)) that an individual can attain that is based on his/her genetics. The most common calculation for the maximum heart rate is: 220-Age

In Paul's case, Age=17, so his maximum heart rate is 220-17=203 bpm.

ArbitrLikvidat [17]

Answer:

Homeostasis.

Explanation:

Homeostasis refers to any self-regulating process that living things use to actively maintain stability while adjusting to conditions (maintaining steady levels of temperature and other vital conditions such as the water, salt, sugar, protein, fat, calcium and oxygen contents of the blood) that are optimal for survival. We live a healthy life while homeostasis is successful, we get sick and it may lead to death when it is not successful. The term homeostasis was first used in 1930 by Dr. Walter Cannon.
