Hi!

Let's start with the facts:

  1. She had m messages
  2. They divided m messages into 4 equal groups
  3. Each of those groups had 43 messages
  4. We must solve using a division equation

Therefore:

\frac{m}{4}=43

Now, we have an algebraic equation. In order to solve, we must multiply both sides by 4 so that way m is by itself.

\frac{m}{4}*4=43*4

m=172

Therefore, Mandy received 172 messages. (that's a lot of messages!)

Let the number of messages be m

Since every friend has read 43 messages, The equation formed will be

m \div 4 = 43

Move the constant to the right hand side and change its sign to multiplication

m = 43 \times 4

Multiply the numbers

m = 172

Thus, Mandy had 172 messages!!~

Pie
To determine the fraction of her classmates with dogs as pets, we simply multiply the two given fractions based from the survey.

                                       Pets = (2/3)(5/6) = 5/9

Thus, there are 5/9 of Ruby;s car.

Answer:

C) 145 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

angles 2 and 5 are same side interior angles, which means they're supplementary. (they add together to make 180)

using that, you can make the following equation:

(x is angle 2 to avoid confusion)

35 + x = 180

subtract 35 from both sides

x = 180 - 35

x = 145

Trains Two trains, Train A and Train B, weigh a total of 360 tons. Train A is heavier than Train B. The difference of their weig
Sergio [31]
Since both trains in total weigh 360 tons and train A weighs more than train be, it means that train B is the rest of the weight when you subtract train A from the total amount. Difference means subtraction so just solve this: 360-272 to get train B and you already know that train A is 272 tons. Please mark branliest!
