Try this option:

1) vector AB=(2;3;6).

(X_B-X_A;Y_B-Y_A;Z_B-Z_A); \ => (4-2;2+1;3+3); \ =>(2;3;6).

2) |AC|=9.

|AC|=\sqrt{(X_C-X_A)^2+(Y_C-Y_A)^2+(Z_C-Z_A)^2}=\sqrt{(6-2)^2+(3+1)^2+(4+3)^2}=\sqrt{81}=9.

Plz help im struggling in this lesson :( What graph represents the piecewise-defined function?
LiRa [457]

Well im not good at this ,butt I'll tell you something. An open dot means that point is not included , soo something like y<208 would mean 208 is not included and have an open dot, butt a closed dot means the point is included, such as <_ 450. ( The line is supposed to be under < butt i don't know how to do that.)  Hope this helps

Sally has $1.50 worth of change in her pocket-- all nickels and dimes. She has three times as many nickels as dimes. Find the nu
GuDViN [60]
If we use x for the number of dimes, and y for the number of nickels, then from this problem we know:
x(.10)+y(.05)=1.50
since each dime we have is another .10 dollars, and each nickel is another .05 dollars, as well as
3x=y
since we have 3 times as many nickels, we have to multiply dimes by 3 to have the same number of coins.

plugging this in to the first equation we get:
x(.10)+3x(.05)=1.50
.1x+.15x=1.5
.25x=1.5
x=6
Sally has 6 dimes.
Plugging this back in to 3x=y, we get
3(6)=y
18=y
So, Sally has 18 nickels

Mashutka [201]

Answer:

The probability of picking a 7 as the first card is 4 out of 52 or 1/13. The probability of picking a 5 as the second card is 4 out of 51. For both to happen, we multiply and get about .00603318

Thanks!
