<span>The US EPA issues a daily report for pollution levels called as the Air Quality Index. This index provides information about the cleanliness or health of the air, on daily basis. A higher value indicates higher pollution in the air. A value of 100 is set as a national air quality standard for the pollutant, at which the citizens have to be protected from the pollutant.</span>
