Calculation of Percentage Increase

Day One = 16 birds

Day two = 16 - 25% (16)

But 25% (16) = 25/100 ×16

= 1/4× 16

= 4

Therefore day two = 16 - 4 = 12

Day three = 12 + 3 = 15

Therefore percentage increase,

= 3/15 × 100

= 300/15

= 20%

Therefore there was 20% increase from Day 2 to Day 3.
