Number 2 is 5 3/5
 because if u multiply 7 times 4 you get 28 so then the fraction would be 28/5 but that an improper fraction so you do 28/5 minus 5/5 which gets you 23/5 then you do it again 23/5 minus 5/5 and you do that till you get a proper fraction the proper fraction would be 3/5 and you would have subtracted 5/5 5 times so then 5/5 = 1 whole so 5 of these 5/5 is 5 wholes so 5 and 3/5 is your answer  <span />

A line has the equation 3x ? 4y = 1. Choose the equation of a line that is parallel to the given line.
cupoosta [38]

Answer:

Find a line which also has 3/4 as the slope or 3x - 4y in standard form.

Step-by-step explanation:

If the line is 3x - 4y = 1 then the line which is parallel will have the same coefficients of x and y. Parallel lines never cross and to ensure this have the same slope. The slope is a ratio which can be solved for in an equation using the coefficients of x and y. Here the slope is:

3x - 4y = 1

-4y = -3x + 1

y = 3/4x - 1/4.

Find a line which also has 3/4 as the slope or 3x - 4y in standard form.

Segment EG is an angle bisector of angle FGH. Noah wrote a proof to show that triangle HEG is congruent to triangle FEG. Noah's
tangare [24]

Answer:

Line 3 is incorrect; we don't know anything about the lengths of HG, FG, HE, and EF, so this line is not valid based on the given information.

Step-by-step explanation:

In the Noah's poof of the construction, segment EG would divide angle FGH into two equal parts, which makes line 2 to be valid. i.e <EGH ≅ <EGF. And it can also be observed that line 4 is a valid theorem in proving the congruent nature of triangles.

But line 3 is not valid because of the condition of the statement. Furthermore, segments FG, EG, HG, HE and FE may not be congruent. Thus, the condition of the statement in line 3 is incorrect.
