When two lines intersect, they form four angles. The two angles that are adjacent to each other (when added to together equal 180°) are called a linear pair. i.e. a pair of adjacent angles that form a line.
So, the linear pairs are:
SRV and TRV
VRW and WRS
VRU and URS
These pairs of angle are adjacent to eachother (on the line SV).
