A dragon likes to eat red peppers and green peppers because they help him breathe fire. If the dragon eats 2 red peppers, he can

breathe fire that is 25 meters long. If the dragon eats 10 green peppers, he can breathe fire that is 15 meters long. Today, the dragon ate 3 red
peppers and 5 green peppers. How long is the fire?

it's 45

Step-by-step explanation:

Okay, so if 2 peppers is 25 meters long, you just divide 25 by 2 to get how many peppers the dragon breathes as 1 pepper. So then you get 12.5, And if you do that with the green peppers, you get 1.5. So, the dragon ate 3 green peppers, so it's 12.5 x 3 , aka. 12.5+12.5+12.5. That's 37.5, and if you do 1.5x5 for the green peppers, it's 7.5, And now you add 37.5+7.5, and you get 45.

Plot the points on your graph paper to answer the question.
dlinn [17]

Answer:

The paired points are not in a proportional relationship

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

A relationship between two variables, x, and y, represent a proportional variation if it can be expressed in the form k=\frac{y}{x} or y=kx

In a proportional relationship the constant of proportionality k is equal to the slope m of the line and the line passes through the origin

we have the ordered pairs

(1,0),(2,1),(3,2),(5,4),(6,5)

Plot the points and connect them

see the attached figure

This line not passes through the origin

therefore

The paired points are not in a proportional relationship

exis [7]

Answer:

The formula for finding volume of a cone is (in this case),

V=(3.14)(r^2)(h/3)

With this formula in mind, you would simply substitute in.

V=(3.14)(2^2)(9/3)

You could work that out for yourself on your own, but to save you the time, it is 37.68 in. cubed.

Step-by-step explanation:

hope i helped

amid [387]

Answer:

Given:

mean, u = 6.2

sample size, n = 180

Sample mean, X' = 6.3

s.d \sigma = 0.9

Significance level = 0.05

The null and alternative hypothesis will be:

H0 : u = 6.2

H1 : u > 6.2

Degree of freedom = 180 - 1 = 179

Using t table, the t critical value,

t> t(0.05, 179) = 1.6534

The test statistic:

t = \frac{X' - u}{\frac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n}}}

T = \frac{6.3 - 6.2}{\frac{0.9}{\sqrt{180}}} = 1.4907

Since the test statistic(t calculated value) 1.4907 < t critical value (1.6534), we fail to reject the null hypothesis H0.

Plzzz help. I just need someone to tell me a bunch of stuff about planning for the cost of college. I will mark brainliest when
sammy [17]

Answer:

is this for a project or just for you? There are several ways

Step-by-step explanation:

First, a few questions:

what are your interests in college? like what subject/ major?

Are you interested in a certain type of college like local, state school, private, in state/ out of state?

How do you feel about attending courses on line?

Are you interested in working while in school?

Do you plan to live at home, in a dorm, with a relative or roommate? (in other words, would you have to pay rent?)

If you're still in high school, would you be able to work now before going to college?

How soon do you plan to/ will be able to attend college?

Things you need to know are:

does your state pay for tuition to state schools?

Do your parents/guardian/relative claim you on their taxes? because if they do, the financial aid dept will have to look at the income of whomever claims you.

If you have a few schools in mind, go on their website and look at the financial aid and see if they list any grants that you could apply for.

You can also check their cost per credit for a class. Be aware that 1 class could have 2, 3, or 4 credits etc so, for example, if their cost was $200 per credit, a class might cost you $800... like... just 1 class. Private schools are more expensive than state schools, but some private schools have special grants from alum or donations etc.

I'm just going to throw a number out there and say that if you went to a local uni near me, i'd budged for about $3000 a semester and that's just class fees, books, administrative fees... not including dorm, food or transportation.

I'm sure you might not want to count on a grant or loan, but it's hard for a single person to pay for college unless you have funds or a good paying job. Also, going to a junior college for core classes (english, science, math, history) can be cheaper OR find an online class ( but make sure in both cases that your credits will transfer).

Usually a school guidance counselor will help you through all of this stuff.

OH! there's also work-study where you can get a job on campus that goes towards paying your tuition.

Really there are many options.
