Answer:

Articles of confederation- Each state was one vote, Congress had no power to tax or regulate trade, each state had its own currency, no executive branch or judicial branch, had no federal government (all power of the states)

Constitution- Legislative, Executive, and Judicial Branch, Bill of rights, common currency, strong federal government, the senate had 2 reps. from each state, house of rep. based on population, shared powers between state and federal government, Congress can regulate tax and trade, federal law is limited to those in the constitution

Both - Congress had the power to declare war, create treaties, raise armies, make laws, and the states have some power

Hope this helps!

Answer:

Ultimately, the largest difference between America's two governing documents is in that the Articles sovereignty resided in the states, and the Constitution was declared the law of the land when it was ratified which significantly increased the power of the federal government.

What do you know about the current Black Lives Matter movement? How is it similar to the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s? How
victus00 [196]

Answer:

The Black Lives Matter protests that have followed the killings of George Floyd  and  Breonna Taylor by police officers remind Margaret Burnham of 1968. At that time, the national response to the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. combined with ongoing protests over civil rights and the Vietnam War to plunge an already divided nation more deeply into turmoil.

“This is taking place in a world that is not only deeply fractured, but also deeply fragile because of the coronavirus, the economic crisis that makes the country look a little bit like 1929, and the existential threat of climate change,” says Burnham, university distinguished professor of law at Northeastern. “It’s everything collapsing all around us.”

djyliett [7]

Answer:

d. It made the processes of hiring and promoting employees within the organization far more complex.

Explanation:

The 1964 Civil Rights Act has changed the hiring structure for African Americans as it prohibits segregation in public offices and prohibited employment discrimination based on race, color, culture, religion, sex or nationality. It gave way for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission to uplift the downtrodden blacks in the United States. This legislative measure was a major breakthrough to provide economic opportunities and employment dignity to the African Americans.
