The quotient rule is as follows

((l)•(h’) - (l’)•(h))/(l)^2

With l representing “low” or “bottom equation” and h representing “high” or “top equation”

Let’s plug in v^k and v^h in this case

((v^h)(v^k)’ - (v^h)’(v^k))/(v^h)^2

Write the equation of a circle with endpoints of the diameter are (-8, 1) and (4,5)
STatiana [176]

centre of the circle =Midpoint of the diameter

centre of the circle=

( \frac{ - 8 + 4}{2}  , \frac{5 + 1}{2} ) = ( - 2 ,3)

radius of the circle=

\sqrt{(4 - ( - 2) ^{2} + (5 - 3 )^{2} }    =  \sqrt{36 + 4}  =  \sqrt{40 } = 2 \sqrt{10}

equation of the circle: (x+2)²+(y-3)² = 40

ie.. x²+4x+4+ y²- 6y+ 9=40

ie... x²+y²+4x-6y-27=0

this is the answer......

What are the coordinates of p?<br><br> A.(0,5)<br> B.0,7<br> C.7,0<br> D.5,0
xxMikexx [17]

Answer:

(5,0)

Step-by-step explanation:

Count how many units are there on the x-axis first and in this case it is 5 the count how many on the y axis (going up or down) and that is 0 so then use this for the coordinate: (x,y)=(5,0)

The combined height of one oak tree and one pine tree is 21 meters. The height of 4 oak trees stacked on top of each other is 24
olasank [31]

Answer:

Height of an oak tree= 9 meters

Height of a pine tree = 12 meters

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

The combined height of 1 oak tree and 1 pine tree = 21 meters

Height of 4 oak trees = 24 meters more than 1 pine tree

To find the height of 1 pine tree and height of one oak tree.

Solution:

Let the height of one oak tree be = x meters.

Let height of one pine tree = y meters.

Combined height can be given as :

x+y=21-------------[1]

Height of 4 oak trees = 24 meters more than 1 pine tree

The above statement can be given as :

4x=24+y------------[2]

Rearranging equation [2] by subtracting both sides by y.

4x-y=24+y-y

4x-y=24-------------[2]

Adding rearranged equation [2] to [1].

x+y=21

4x-y=24

+--------------------

5x\         = 45

Dividing both sides by 5.

\frac{5x}{5}=\frac{45}{5}

∴ x=9

Plugging in  x=9 in equation [1]

9+y=21

Subtracting both sides by 9.

9-9+y=21-9\\\therefore y=12

Height of an oak tree= 9 meters

Height of a pine tree = 12 meters
