PLEASE HELP QUICK! MEDAL AND FAN!
tresset_1 [31]
Krill in this food web is the primary consumer. Since the producer of the food web is the phytoplankton. Removing them from the food chain cuts the supply of food for secondary consumers such as seals, and whales. This disrupts the whole Antartic ecosystem since there will be a large amount of phytoplankton but not enough food for secondary consumers. This because secondary consumers are not able to eat phytoplankton due to their microscopic size. Only krill are able to feed on them and have the maximum energy gain from them.

Papessa [141]

\bold{\huge{\purple{\underline{ Answer }}}}

Aerobic respiration :- Aerobic respiration is process of respiration in which complete oxidation of glucose takes place in the presence of oxygen

That is,

Aerobic respiration is takes place in four stages :-

 • Glycolysis
 • The link reaction
 • The Krebs cycle
 • Oxidative phosphorylation

In aerobic respiration, Glucose with 6 carbon atoms broken into 2 pyruvic acid each with 3 carbon atom and produces water + CO2 + energy.

Whereas,

Anaerobic respiration :- is the process of respiration in which incomplete oxidation of glucose takes place in the absence of oxygen

The end products of glucose in anaerobic respiration is

 • In human muscles, Lactic acid + Energy
 • In yeast, Ethanol + CO2 + Energy
