The Justinian Code was able to impact the Byzantine Empire by bringing law and order to the empire.

This was a series of laws and legal interpretations that the Emperor Justinian sponsored in order to bring order to the Byzantine Empire.

As a result of the code, the empire was able to gain a legal system that allowed for the governing of the empire. This code would be the start of a system that would last for many centuries and influence the modern world.
